Meet Roxana Cruz-Rivera, Esq. LLM

FOUNDER AND TAX ATTORNEY

Throughout my over 20-year career, I have found a deep sense of purpose in guiding clients and businesses toward success. Before founding Tax Law & Venture Services, I served as both Deputy Secretary of the Puerto Rico Treasury Department and Director of the Incentives Office. Coupled with my global experience consulting top businesses across industries, these roles were instrumental in my growth as a top local and federal tax expert.

Whether I’m guiding organizations toward minimizing their tax liability, registering their business on solid ground, protecting their hard-earned assets, or beyond, I strive to build meaningful long-term relationships centered on shared goals.

To accomplish this, I lean on my LLM Taxation and J.D. degrees as well as my hands-on experience with the Puerto Rico Internal Revenue Code and tax incentives laws such as Acts 60, 20, 22, and 73, among others. Meanwhile, I lead a multifaceted team to ensure favorable tax outcomes for clients in real estate acquisitions, M&A transactions, upper and lower-tier holding structures, debt and equity securities, and much more.

Our team at Tax Law & Venture Services consists of attorneys and Notary Publics with more than two decades of experience in their field. These include individuals who have led as Deputy Secretary of the Puerto Rico Department of Treasury, a former judge from the Puerto Rico Superior Court of First Instance, and an experienced Notary Public in real estate transactions.
